Product Description
Holly's aquaculture drum filter is developed to address common issues found in traditional filtration systems—such as lack of automation, poor corrosion resistance, frequent clogging, fragile screens, and high maintenance requirements.
As one of the key solid-liquid separation technologies in early-stage aquaculture water treatment, this filter ensures effective removal of solid waste, enabling water recycling and overall system efficiency.
Working Principle
The system consists of four main components:

As aquaculture water flows through the drum filter, fine particles are trapped by the stainless steel mesh (200 mesh / 74 μm). After filtering, the clarified water flows into the reservoir for reuse or further treatment.
Over time, debris accumulates on the screen, decreasing water permeability and causing the internal water level to rise. Once it reaches the preset high level, the automatic control system activates the backwash pump and drum motor, initiating a self-cleaning process.
High-pressure water jets thoroughly clean the rotating screen. The dislodged waste is collected in a dirt collection tank and discharged through a dedicated sewage outlet.
Once the water level drops to the preset low point, the system stops backwashing and resumes filtration—ensuring continuous, clog-free operation.
